iPhone 7 Won’t Have Camera Hump Or Antenna Bands

Some news on the iPhone 7 today which is said to have a few design tweaks. Whilst the iPhone 6 handset was elegantly slim it still carried a  bulging rear camera and antenna band on the back, ultimately the design was not impressive enough when compared to the previously released iPhone 5 and 5s.

The much awaited next-gen iPhone will reportedly feature the similar look except for the two major design changes.

MacRumors, a credible source contributing some trustworthy information regarding Apple devices in the past, stated that the protruding camera as well as the antenna lines from the previously released iPhone 6 and 6S will be discarded in the latest version.

According to MacRumor’s Eric Slivka,

“Our source has been unable to confirm whether the device as a whole will be thinner than the iPhone 6 and 6s. Although any thickness reductions would be expected to be slight, and many users will likely find the flush rear camera to be a significant improvement even if other dimensions remain the same.”

The iPhone 7 is speculated to be launched sometime around September. The case for the handset will look quite identical to the iPhone 6s except for the change that it will not carry antenna bands across the back of the handset, which will give it more of a solid metal-plate on the rear. However, one can still see the antenna bands over the sides and top of the latest gadget.

The company is also rumored to be examining a latest dual-lens mechanism for the primary camera that will definitely enhance the picture quality. Wireless charging is also being looked into by Apple and could be featured in the upcoming iPhone releases the next year.
