LG V20 goes Official with Dual Camera

LG has launched its much awaited V20 smartphone in San Francisco. The handset will be available in Korea later this month and is expected to be made official in India and other markets shortly.

The smartphone is a successor to V10 handset released last year. LG V20 is the first device to ship with Google’s new Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box.

In terms of design, the latest LG V20 is made-up of AL6013 metal and LG claims that it can withstand a fall from a height of around 4ft.

As far as the specs of the device are concerned, it features a 5.7-inch main IPS Quantum display along with a secondary display just like the V10. LG V20 will be backed by 3200mAh battery backup.

The new LG V20 is fueled by a quad-core Qualcomm MSM8996 Snapdragon 820 SoC, with two cores working at 2.15GHz, while the other two clocked at 1.6GHz.

For storage, the latest LG smartphone comes with 32GB and 64GB storage choices expandable up to 256GB via the microSD card slo. In addition, the handset packs in USB Type-C port and will be released in silver, titan and pink color choices.

According to Juno Cho, President, LG Electronics and Mobile Communications Company:

With the LG V20, we are giving our customers more of everything they love and less of anything they don’t need to set a new standard for premium smartphones.”

The new LG V20 features a dual back camera setup with the Auto Shot feature. The smartphone’s HAF (Hybrid Auto Focus) combines three AF tools including Phase Detection AF, Laser Detection AF, and Contrast AF. Moreover, the device can also record Hi-Fi videos.
