New HTC Desire 500 And Desire 800 Series Phones With Android 6.0 Expected Before One M10

Popular Taiwanese smartphone and tablet manufacturer HTC is speculated to launch its high-end flagship named One M10 during the Mobile World Congress 2016 which will be held later this month in Barcelona, Spain. The handset is codename ‘Perfume’.

HTC M10 Leaks

The company’s ROM developer Llab TooFer stated that HTC will launch two latest Smartphones ahead of the official launch of One M10.

One of the smartphones to be released is from the Desire 500 array, codenamed A16. The other one is the new device from the Desire 800 series, codenamed A56.

Recently an online Dutch retailer also listed Desire 530 the handset to be launched for Desire 500 series would be Desire 530. Desire 530 is rumored to be priced at €190, but the other specs and features are yet to be unveiled officially by the company. However as per various sources, HTC Desire 530 is supposed to be the successor of Desire 526 released last year.

As per the leaks, both these forthcoming Desire handsets will be driven by Android 6.0 Marshmallow and will feature Sense 7.0_g . The smartphones are expected to be updated to Sense 8 once One M10 will be launched.

In addition, the leakster has also reported that HTC is planning to drop ‘_g’. The new UI will be named Sense 8.0_GP. However, for marketing purposes the Sense 8.0 will be used.

There are no updates regarding the Desire 800 series smartphone though and all HTC enthusiasts will have to wait till HTC makes an official statement.
