iPhone 7 Deals
It’s not often that Apple surprise us, though iPhones are generally decent devices overall. But with the new iPhone 7, we’ve got to admit we’re impressed. Sure, it looks and acts like an iPhone (that’s a good thing!), but it’s the new stuff that we’re loving. Like what? Like that it’s water resistant, for a start. And that extra battery life makes us very happy indeed. Most of all though, we dig the improved speakers and sound. If you’re shopping for a top end device, then the iPhone 7 has everything you need. Start comparing iPhone 7 Deals below:
September 2017 has marked the next generation of iPhone now on the market: the iPhone 7. Apple has taken many innovative and potentially risky ventures with this new product, but this one shows yet another improvement over all the past iterations of the iPhone. It boasts a new function to the home button, as well as water resistance.
It comes in the following colours:
- Jet black
- Rose gold
The following capacities are also available in each model:
- iPhone 7: 4.7″ display / 1334 x 750 resolution at 326 ppi
The iPhone 7’s Retina HD display is the most powerful of any iPhone yet, with a much more vibrant range of colours than previous models. Both the 7 and 7 Plus have 3D Touch, a feature previously only available on the 6S and 6S Plus. This feature allows deeper levels of interaction with apps such as Messages, Mail and others. The screen is also ion-strengthened and oleophobic, to prevent any fingerprint oil from damaging it.
There is quite a noticeable disparity in the cameras in the 7 and 7 Plus, far greater than in the 6/6S and 6/6S Plus models that preceded it. The cameras on both models have a sapphire crystal lens cover for extra durability, as well as body and face reduction and the functionality of Live Photos. However, there are some differences between the two.
The iPhone 7 has a 12MP camera and digital zoom up to 5x, yet the Plus model has both a 12MP wide-angle and a telephoto lens to allow for better focus in pictures. The optical zoom goes to 2x, and the digital zoom goes to 10x.
As for the video recording functionality of both models, they allow 30fps 4K recording, and the capability for 60fps recording at 1080p resolution. There is also optical image stabilisation for video available.
Power & Performance
The iPhone 7 boasts 2 hours greater battery life than the 6S (along with at least 40 hours wireless audio playback), and the 7 Plus has at least a 1 hour greater battery life than the 6S Plus (with roughly 60 hours of wireless audio playback).
Both phones have a standby time of at least 10 days, with the 7 Plus having a little longer standby time of roughly 16 days.
The 7 and 7 Plus have a built-in rechargeable lithium ion battery, as well as charging via USB to a computer or a USB adaptor.
The latest operating system from Apple comes as standard on these two new models of phone. With this comes a new notification centre, and the abolition of Apple’s usual slide-to-unlock feature, replaced now by pressing the Home button and using a passcode or touch ID.
