A quick look at the all new Samsung Galaxy Note 7

The Galaxy S is considered to be Samsung’s flagship series, but recently, the Note series has also made quite a mark on the handheld device market. Launched officially some five years ago, the Galaxy Note series has brought about several improvements, and with its latest launch, the Galaxy Note 7, has won over the entire phablet market. So let’s take a look at some technical specifications of the Galaxy Note 7.

Galaxy Note 7

Design

The Galaxy Note 7 comes with the gently curved rear glass and a much more symmetrical body. From the side, the phablet looks similar in size, shape and curvature to the Note 5, which gives it an ergonomic look and feel. The mirror glass highly reflective finish is also similar to the Note 5, but fingerprints might be a messy issue.

Display

The Galaxy Note 7’s super AMOLDED display suffers from a bit of color quality issue. The screen is exactly 5.7 inches, with a resolution of 1440 x 2560, this issue does not seem to be such a big thing. But for ardent gamers, disappointment might be just around the corner. Although the display is quite clear, games with vivid colors and high resolution might lag a bit.

Iris Scanner

A new security feature has been introduced in the new Galaxy Note 7. It is being called the Iris Scanner and is actually a biometric scanner that scans your actual iris with a dedicated scanner mounted on top of the phone. Although new, this security feature promises to be the ultimate protection against any thieves or hackers, and even some nosy family member who just loves to go through your gallery.

Improved UI

The Samsung TouchWiz software layer has been updated yet again for the Galaxy Note 7, making the user interface, or UI, much more user friendly, and improved in terms of performance and look. Refreshed visuals and new features make the Galaxy Note 7 a must have for almost any phablet lover. With Android 6.0.1 at the helm of its performance, the Galaxy Note 7 showcases improved visual style, which helps the phablet user to view everything quite clearly.

Secure Folder options

The all new secured folder option on the all new Galaxy Note 7 gives you the added advantage of password protecting all your private files, images, videos and messages. Usually, we always have a family member who simply loves to snoop around with other people’s phone. But with this new feature, they can kiss their curios nature goodbye.
