ZTE brand, nubia launched Z9 Max in 2015 while Z11 mini hit the global market in early 2016. The Chinese multinational recently sent out invites for the launch of its latest smartphone at IFA 2016. The event will be held in Berlin on 31st August.
The invitation is titled ‘Dream without Boundaries’ which hints at a bezel-less smartphone design. The teaser for the handset reads ‘What’s NU at IFA 2016.’
The nubia Z11 launched in June 2016 flaunts a 5.5-inches 2.5D, curved glass, bezel-less display featuring 1080p. The screen to body ration of the handset is a whopping 81 percent. nubia Z11 is powered by quad-core Snapdragon 820 SoC and is driven by Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
The handset comes with a 16MP rear lens with dual-tone LED flash, optical image stabilization (OIS), and phase detection and autofocus (PDAF). An 8MP front cam is also included in the handset.
The official statement revealed the nubia’s co-founder Felix Fu will reveal the handset and share the brand’s vision. It has not been confirmed if the handset to be launched at IFA will be the same Z11 smartphone or a new handset by nubia.
Nubia will exhibit its smartphones during IFA from September 2nd to 7th.
