Apple’s fans are really enthusiastic about the launch of their two new phones. IPhone 6 has a beautiful 4.7 inch screen while iPhone 6 plus has a big 5.5 inch screen. These phones have one of the best phone cameras. They have a faster processor and a new system of Apple pay payment. IPhone 6 and iPhone 6 plus have a new iPad style design with rounded corners. They are available in three different colors; Gold, Silver and Space Gray. They also come with three different storage capacities as you can choose from 16, 64 and 128 GB. If you want to buy iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 plus on contract, you can get them for $199 and $299 respectively.
Both the models have generally the same design. IPhone 6 plus is slightly thicker than iPhone 6. The major differences between iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 plus is that iPhone 6 plus offers image stabilization for the camera, longer battery life and iPad style landscape mode.
Cameras in both the phones have advanced immensely as they are using the new “Focus Pixel” technology. Sensors of both the phones have upgraded. Video quality has improved massively as well due to 240fps slo-mo option. You can now shoot in 1080p at 60 fps. The front camera can now shoot well even in low light. There are many fun modes available for capturing pictures.
Both the phones have new Retina HD Display. The resolution of iPhone 6 is 1334 x 750 and the resolution of iPhone 6 Plus is 1920 x 1080.
There are a few issues with these phones though. After the launch of these new phones, many people complained about bending of the phone. A user reported that he noticed his phone was bent after being in the pocket for 18 hours. A video also came on surface on YouTube in which a user showed bending iPhone 6 plus with his bare hands. It caused a lot of damage to the phone. The video made the people worried as they didn’t want their iPhone 6 plus bending in their pockets. We should keep in mind that we do not put this much pressure on our phones in our daily lives. Apple has replaced the phones that were reported bent. It is more difficult to bend iPhone 6 plus than iPhone 6. You can save your iPhone 6 Plus by putting it in a rigid cover. IPhone 6 can be protected by taking it out of the pocket before you sit down.
In response to these videos, Apple replied that there were only 9 reported case of bending of iPhone 6 Plus. They also said that with normal use it is quite rare for iPhone 6 to bend in your packet. Apple also invited different reporters to come and check where iPhones get tested for durability. The phones have to pass five tests in order to appear fit for the usage. In the tests it was found that iPhone 6 Plus can stand 90 pounds of pressure before it bends and iPhone 6 can bear 70 pounds of pressure before it could be bent. Applying this much pf pressure on phones is impossible in normal life.
