It has only been a couple of months since the Galaxy Note 7 was made official, yet, the Galaxy S8 rumor mill is steaming full ahead even though the smartphone will not be announced till the next year.
The Chinese tipsters are already speculating about the features of the future flagship handset of the South Korean smartphone manufacturer. The latest hints indicate that the Galaxy S8 will come with a dual rear camera setup. One of the lenses will have 12MP resolution while the other will be rated at 13MP. Apart from the internal divisions, the smartphone giant will also source the camera units from Sony. Samsung model for the dual camera arrangement is allegedly S5K2L2.
Samsung Galaxy S8 will also come with an 8MP front lens. This is the first time in many years that Samsung is increasing the resolution of the selfie cam.
Another lens above the display will be added for the Iris Scanning feature which was introduced in the Note 7.
Although it is too early for more details, we won’t be surprised if they show up! After all, the flood gates have already been thrown open!
Samsung Galaxy Folder 2 leaks in Press Images
The rumored forthcoming clamshell smartphone by Samsung is anticipated to make its entry as the Galaxy Folder 2.
The device was first spotted when it passed through TENAA followed by a number of leaked renders in the month of August. Now an alleged press image of the forthcoming Samsung Galaxy Folder 2 has surfaced which confirms that the latest smartphone by the South Korean multinational is certainly on its way.
Though the authenticity of these leaked pictures is questionable, it seems as if these are the actual press images of the highly anticipated Galaxy Folder 2. These leaks indicate that the official announcement of the handset is not too far.
As far as the specs of the upcoming smartphone are concerned, it will come with a 3.8-inch WVGA display with 480×800p screen resolution. The handset is expected to be fueled by a Snapdragon 425 SoC by Qualcomm clocked at 1.4GHz and coupled with 2GB of RAM. The device is also rumored to pack in 16GB of internal storage on board that can easily be extended via microSD card slot.
In terms of camera, Samsung Galaxy Folder 2 is will house an 8MP primary camera along with a 5MP selfie snapper. The device will be driven by 1950mAh battery and is said to run on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow topped with Touch Wiz out of the box.
