Earlier this month, Huawei unveiled Honor V8 smartphone which came with a large 5.7-inch 2K display. Currently, reports indicate that Huawei could shortly announce Honor 8 which will come with a small display as compared to the previously launched V8.
Honor 8 is being promoted as the most beautiful smartphone from Huawei’s sub brand. In addition, reports also reveal that this device could be announced in the forthcoming month.
Honor 8 is ascribed by a code Faraday and the source of the leak clearly displays two models dubbed Model 8 FRD-TL10 and FRD-ALOO respectively. The difference between the two variants could be the network support.
The highpoint of Honor 8 is the glass on both the front and back of the smartphone. In addition, the device is also said to feature a rear panel equipped with 2.5D curved glass.
On the specs front, Honor 8 is expected to come with a 5.2-inch display and it is said to be fueled by Kirin 950/955 SoC paired with 4GB of RAM.
For camera, the smartphone packs in 12MP dual camera and it is also expected to be backed by a battery outstripping 3000mAh capacity. Honor 8 is also speculated to sport wireless charging, infrared remote support and USB Type C connectivity.
The handset is expected to make its debut in June.
