Meizu MX6 now tipped for H2 Launch

Rumours about the Chinese multinational Meizu’s MX6 have been picking up pace lately. However the current leaks indicate that the next Meizu device may not be launched till H2, 2016. This implies that in spite of the previous rumours hinting at the April release, Meizu fans will not get their hands on the MX6 smartphone before July 2016.

The handset is the successor of the previously launched Meizu MX5. Meizu MX6 is expected to feature a full HD display and it is said to be fueled by MediaTek Helio X20 octa-core processor. The smartphone is also rumoured to come with a Mali-T880 GPU for enhanced graphics.

On the storage front, the handset is expected to sport 3GB of RAM along with 32GB of internal storage on board. MX6 by Meizu will run on Android Marshmallow 6.0 out of the box.
In terms of camera, Meizu MX6 is speculated to pack in 21MP back camera and also an 8MP front-facing camera designed specifically to click selfies. In addition, it is expected to be backed by 4000mAh battery backup.

The Smartphone is said to come with a CNY 1,799 price tag which is equivalent to around $278, £190 and Rs. 18,450. However, all these details are merely speculations and those who are waiting for the device need to hold on till the company officially discloses the details regarding its forthcoming MX6.
