The smartphone arena has been inundated with the news of two new Nexus phones in works. We know that HTC will be manufacturing two Nexus handsets, codenamed Sailfish and Marlin. Both the handsets will feature similar design and will only differ in the screen size.
Recently, a series of images allegedly featuring Nexus Sailfish appeared on the internet. The leaked images detail the front, back and side design of the forthcoming handsets. The images are in accordance with the rumors that we have heard so far. Yet another image of the purported handset has also hit the Twitter, suggesting a glass panel back cover. A fingerprint scanner can also be spotted on the back.
So far, the leaks suggest a 5-inches 1080 display for Sailfish while Marlin will flaunt a 5.5-inches QHD display. Sailfish will be backed by a battery of 2770mAh while Marlin will be powered by 3450mAh battery.
Both the upcoming HTC Nexus handsets will include SD820 or 821/823 SoC. The smartphones will sport 4GB RAM and will come with 32 or 128GB storage on board. A 12MP/8MP camera combo and USB Type-C port will also be included in the handset.
