Samsung Galaxy Note 6 could sport a Waterproof Design

Samsung re-incorporated the water and dust proof technology in the Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge. Now, the latest reports have hinted that the technology will pursue suit in Note 6 as well.

SamMobile, a credible South Korean fan site, has acknowledged the reports stating that Galaxy Note 6 will feature IP68 rated layout. This implies that the handset would be able to stay submerged in one and a half meters of water for around thirty minutes.

In addition, other speculations also indicate that Samsung has imported latest Iris snapper modules to India for R&D.

The import listing mentions the incorporation of this technology in Samsung devices, however, it is still not clear that will Galaxy Note 6 encapsulate this eye-scanning technology or not.

As far as the other specs of the device are concerned, Samsung Galaxy Note 6 is rumored to come with a 5.7-inch QHD display and said to sport a massive 6GB RAM along with 64GB or 128GB of built-in internal storage on board. The handset is also expected to pack in 4000 mAh battery backup.

For camera, the handset is speculated to embrace a 12MP back camera supported by OIS. In addition, Galaxy Note 6 is said to offer two SoC choices – Snapdragon or Exynos.

Samsung Galaxy Note 6 might be released sometime around August this year. The previously anticipated launch time of the phablet was around September 2016.

However, Samsung has not yet officially confirmed any of the specs as well as the features for its forthcoming Galaxy Note 6.
