Samsung Galaxy Note6/Note 7 Blueprint Confirms USB Type-C port

The layout of the forthcoming Samsung Galaxy Note6 /Note 7 has recently emerged in the latest blueprints video. The overall design is pretty much classy and is quite close to what Samsung fans are expecting from the successor of the Note 5.

The dual curved display up front and the curved back corners are evident in the design. However, the major dissimilarity is that the primary shape is not as curved as Samsung Galaxy S7 or S7 Edge; rather it features a somewhat rectangular shape with rounded edges similar to its precursor.

Another apparent difference is the availability of USB Type C port at the bottom which indicates that the latest Note will be the company’s first handset to break free from the microUSB standard. Notably, the South Korean electronics giant has already tested USB 3.0 in its Note 3 and S5 in the past.

Apart from this, the device will either feature a 5.7-inch or 5.8-inch display measuring 153.5mm×73.99mm×7.9mm in comparison with the Note 5 that measures 153.2mm×76.1mm×7.6mm, which means that the general imprint is decreased. However, the latest Note will be a bit thicker because of a large battery that the company could be adding in the device just like they did in the S7 range.

All in all, the design appears to be an upgrade as compared to the S7 range containing the smaller snapper bump. The handset is expected to be unveiled during IFA 2016 going to be held in September
