Vivo V3 Max spotted on TENAA with Octa-core CPU 3GB RAM

The renowned China-based phone brand Vivo won the smartphone users with its Vivo Xplay 5 Elite, the handset proclaimed to be the world’s first smartphone flagship featuring 6GB RAM.  Recently, the company’s next smartphone dubbed Vivo V3 Max has been spotted at TENAA.

Vivo teased two of its latest mid-ranged devices, called V3 and V3 Max, earlier this week. However, the company has not yet revealed when the alleged devices are going to hit the retail. After being spotted at TENAA, V3 Max seems ready to hit the markets soon.

Unlike the company’s premium flagship Vivo Xplay 5 Elite, V3 Max will feature modest specifications. The handset is said to come with a full HD 5.5-inch touch-capacitive display supported by 1080p screen resolution. However, the listing has not revealed any details on Gorilla glass coating.

Vivo V3 Max is fuelled by octa-core SoC clocked at 1.5GHz coupled with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage on board that can be extended up to 128GB.

Despite being capable of running Marshmallow, Vivo V3 Max runs Android 5.1.1 out of the box. The has listing also disclosed that the handset will measure 153.90×77.10×7.58mm and weigh around 168g. The device will be released in Golden colour however other colour variants will also be made available.

Connectivity options will include 4G LTE, WIFI, 3G, microUSB 2.0, Bluetooth, GPS and AGPS and possibly dual SIM support.

There has been no word about the battery backup and the front and rear camera details are also yet to be unveiled.

The company is speculated to hold a formal launch event on 5th April. The availability and pricing information will also be disclosed at the release event.
