iPhone 7 might have 1960mAh battery

Albeit the news that the iPhone 7 will be 1mm thinner than the iPhone 6s range, the new iPhone may contain bigger batteries.

iPhone 7 Battery Size

As per @OnLeaks, iPhone 7 might pack in a 1960mAh battery. Notably, this news relates to 4.7-inch iPhone instead of a 5.5-inch iPhone Plus which is expected to land with at least 2700mAh of battery backup. Since iPhone 6s features a 1715mAh battery, the forthcoming iPhone 7 could be carrying 14% more juice than its precursor.

Earlier this year, there were also rumors that the American multinational technology company would be able to incorporate larger batteries in its next-gen iPhones. Thankfully, Apple altered the A10 SoC to take up less space.

As far as the specs of iPhone 7 are concerned, it is said to come with an IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen 4.7-inch display with 750×1334p screen resolution. The handset is expected to be fueled by the company’s own A10 chipset and it will run on iOS 10 out of the box.

For memory, the smartphone will sport 2GB RAM along with 16/64/128GB internal storage on board. However, there is no information regarding the availability of memory card slot.
The device is expected to feature a dual-LED flash supported 12MP primary camera and also a 5MP front-facing snapper with f/2.2 aperture.

Additional features include fingerprint, proximity, gyro, accelerometer, barometer and compass sensors and the handset will be backed by non-removable Li-Po 1960mAh battery backup. The device will be available in Silver, Gold, Rose Gold, and Space Gray colors and it is expected to make its official entry in September this year.
