Asus Zenfone Max With 5.5-inch Display And 5,000mah Battery Now Up For Pre-order

Asus had revealed its ZenFone Max in August 2015, during the the ZenFestival held in New Delhi, India. The main feature of this smartphone is its huge battery backup. Rated at 5000 mAh, this massive battery is so huge that it can even be used to charge other devices.

The latest ZenFone Max from Asus has now been made available for pre-orders via two major online retailers in the country, Amazon and Flikart. The device is priced at Indian Rupees 9,999 which is approximately $150. Both retailers have listed the release date of January 14 and 15.

Asus ZenFone Max is driven by Snapdragon 410 SoC with CPU clocked at 1.2GHz. The handset sports a huge display of 5.5 inches which is an IPS display boasting a resolution of 720p. Device display has been protected with Gorilla Glass 4 and sports 2GB of RAM. The internal device storage is 16GB however the memory has been made extendable via microSD.

As far as the camera specs are concerned, Asus ZenFone Max features a13MP primary lens augmented with dual-LED dual-tone flash and laser-assisted autofocus that ensure crystal clear picture quality. The front selfie shooter is rated at 5MP. The smartphone runs Zen UI 2.0 with Android 5.0 Lollipop running underneath.

The handset is supported with 4G LTE and also flaunts the dual-SIM feature. Overall, the device can be categorized as a mid-ranged smartphone from Asus.
