Qualcomm Shows The LETV Le Max Pro As The First Snapdragon 820 Phone

American chipset producers, Qualcomm’s CEO Steven MollenKopf revealed recently that China’s LETV will be the first smartphone manufacturer to launch a device supporting the latest Snapdragon 820 processor by Qualcomm.

Mollenkopf further said that Letv will utilize the SoC in its forthcoming Smartphone, dubbed the Le Max Pro. The news was announced at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2016 event.

The SoC is the company’s flagship chip that will refine and modify Smartphones. Mollenkopf also said that chip is being outlined into eighty products and Letv is the very first of them to launch.

The upcoming chips include 820A and 820Am chips, advanced for automobile operations. The chips are said to be extremely efficient. This apparently means that they will include advanced sensors along with navigation.

Steven Mollenkopf amusingly noted that a decade ago, Qualcomm wasn’t even present at CES. Today the company is addressing markets like wearable, automobiles, data centers, smart cities, networking, and health care and also Smartphones which is what formed Qualcomm an enormous venture that competitor Intel which is a largest chip manufactures of the present-time.

According to Steven Mollenkopf,

“These markets double our market opportunity.”

The Chinese smartphone manufacturer, LeTv launching a Snapdragon 820 handset was a surprise for everyone because the company has been a relatively new entry in the smartphone arena.
