iPhone 7 Plus Component Leak shows Dual Camera Lens and Hints at 256GB Storage

The iPhone 7 is months from its formal launch yet leaks and reports containing latest information about the unannounced smartphone keep popping up on the web. Some of the current leaks indicate that the American multinational might incorporate 256GB storage in its iPhone 7. Also, the reports hint that the forthcoming 4.7-inch iPhone 7 will have a shooter sporting OIS.

iPhone 7 Weibo

A set of pictures that surfaced over Weibo revealed alleged camera as well as storage components for the upcoming device. There are images of three NAND storage chips (16GB, 64GB and 256GB) built by SanDisk along with a dual lens snapper which will probably be included in iPhone 7 Plus.

Although the dual lens shooter news isn’t new, the storage chips are really confusing. They appear to suggest that Apple is ready to offer up to 256GB memory on the most high-priced iPhone 7 variants, but merely 16GB of storage on the entry-level versions. In addition, the 128GB NAND chip doesn’t even appear in the leaked image.

Notably, the 16GB flash chip merely emphasizes the size dissimilarity between the previous SanDisk flash and the latest modules. Earlier in March, an identical picture displaying the smaller SanDisk 256GB flash in comparison to the 64GB variant appeared on the internet.

Finally, a few days ago another report from Nomura Securities stated that all 5.5-inch iPhone 7 variants will feature dual back snappers. The claim is in line with what a popular Apple Insider stated a few weeks back.

Furthermore, the similar analyst also stated that both the 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch iPhone 7 versions will come with OIS shooters.
