Lenovo Phab 2 Plus with 6.4-inch 1080p display Announced

The Chinese firn, Lenovo has recently announced Phab 2, Phab 2 Plus and Phab 2 Pro phablets at the Tech World 2016. Lenovo Phab 2 comes with a price tag of $199; Phab 2 Plus is valued at $299, while the pro variant is priced at $499. All of these devices will be available internationally in September this year.

As far as the specs of these phablets are concerned, Phab 2 features an HD 6.4-inch display and it will be powered by quad-core MT8735 SoC by MediaTek clocked at 1.3GHz along with Mali T720 GPU for enhanced graphics.

On the storage front, the device packs in 3GB of RAM along with 32GB ROM that can conveniently be extended up to 128GB through microSD card. Phab 2 will run on Marshmallow topped with Vibe UI.

In terms of camera, the phablet sports a 13MP back shooter along with a 5MP selfie clicker. Additional specs include WIFI (dual band), GPS, Dolby Atmos, BT 4.0 and 4G LTE connectivity. Phab 2 by Lenovo will be backed by 4050mAh battery backup.

Lenovo Phab 2 Plus features more or less same features as the Phab 2. The major differences include a 2.5D curved glass 6.4-inch display with 1920×1080p screen resolution. The smartphone sports a 13MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture and an 8MP front camera. In addition, it also features a fingerprint scanner.

Last but not the least, Lenovo Phab 2 Pro features a 6.4-inch display with 2560×1440p screen resolution and will be powered by Snapdragon 652 octa-core SoC along with Adreno 510 GPU.

Phab 2 Pro comes with a 16MP PDAF snapper along with an 8MP front camera. Notably, the device is the world’s first smartphone to feature Tango 3D mapping technology.
