Lumia 950 And 950 Xl Go Live For Pre-Orders In Ireland

Microsoft’s new Windows 10 based flagships, called Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL, are yet to hit the markets. However, the Washington-based company, Redmond has now started taking orders for the devices in Ireland.

Lumia 950 features a 5.2-inches OLED display with 1440×2560p screen resolution and 565ppi pixel density. The device is driven by Snapdragon 808 Hexa-core processor and packs in a 3000mAh battery. Lumia 950 comes with 3GB of RAM along with 32GB microSD card supported internal storage. For camera, Lumia 950 features a 20MP fast focus rear camera with high resolution zoom and Auto focus with two stage capture key capabilities. The handset also embraces a full HD 5MP wide angle selfie snapper.

Lumia 950 XL on the other hand features a 5.7-inches OLED display along with 1440×2560p resolution and 515ppi pixel density. The device is powered by octa-core Snapdragon810 with Adreno 430 GPU. Like Lumia 950, the Lumia 950 XL also sports 3GB of RAM with 32GB microSD card supported internal storage. The handset also packs in a 3340mAh capacity battery with 25.00 hours talk time, 19.00 hours talk time on 3G and 288 hours stand by time.

For camera, Lumia 950 XL features a 20MP primary shooter along with a 5MP front-facing camera for selfies. Both the handsets are powered by Windows 10 and also support USB Type-C and Dual-Role connectivity.

In terms of price, the Lumia 950 will set back its users by €599 in Ireland, while the Lumia 950 XL will cost €699. Color variations include Black and White and the current shipment date is listed to be November 27.

It is noticeable that the flagships have already acknowledged a price-cut in various European countries. The company itself has reduced the prices in UK, while Amazon is offering these handsets at decreased prices in France.
