AT&T To Be The First Us Carrier For Blackberry Priv

AT&T has recently announced that it is going to be the first US carrier to offer BlackBerry’s much awaited Android-based Smartphone flagship called ‘Priv’. The device will be available at retail outlets nationwide as well as online too via www.att.com from Friday, November 6 onwards.

Priv brings the finest of the brand’s cherished features to Android with aim to provide access to more than one million Android apps. Priv is a slim designed handset that features a 5.4-inches QHD touch enabled, dual curved corning Gorilla Glass 4 screen along with availability of both QWERTY and touch screen key board.

The device also embraces BlackBerry’s fabulous battery backup along with exclusionary DTEK™ warning system app which will allow the users to monitor the security level of their device and also gives information regarding what particular apps access the gadget’s microphone, location, camera and other secret information. The approach gives confidence to the users that they are safe from malware, malicious tampering and that their security is under control.

Priv features an 18MP dual flash Schneider-Kreuznach certified rear shooter which ensures professional quality pictures along with a 2MP selfie camera. The handset also sports an Android 5.1 Lollipop OS and is powered by Snapdragon 808 SoC at the helm by Qualcomm. The Priv is supported by 3410mAH battery backup and comes with 3GB of RAM and a 32GB microSD card supported expandable internal storage, however the card need to be purchased separately.

The Blackberry Priv will cost $249.99 along with a two year pact. The device can also get purchased by using AT&T’s next installment plans
