The electronics major Samsung is putting together the forthcoming launch of two latest budget friendly Smartphone flagships, the Galaxy On5 and Galaxy On7. The devices were previously named Galaxy Mega On and Galaxy Grand On respectively.
While these two handsets are yet to be unveiled, the support page is accessible at company’s Official Indian Website.
Samsung is publicizing its upcoming Galaxy On5 to feature slim design and a shooter that can “click brighter, more detailed images and superb selfies.”
Specs wise, the Samsung Galaxy On5 comes with a 5-inches TFT display with 720×1280p screen resolution. The handset is driven by 1.3GHz quad-core Exynos 3475 processor paired with 1.5GB of RAM and 8GB microSD card supported internal storage which can be conveniently expanded up to 128GB.
In terms of camera, the Galaxy On5 features an 8MP basic autofocus shooter and a 5MP front facing snapper for selfies. The rear camera is accompanied by LED flash and also facilitates full HD 1080p video recording.
The dual-SIM based device also supports 4G LTE and two micro SIM cards. In addition it also includes Bluetooth, Glonass, GPS, GPRS/EDGE, Micro USB and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n. The handset also features an accelerometer and a proximity sensor. The device is rumored to come in two color variants-Black and Gold and will be backed by a 2600mAh removable battery.
The Galaxy On5 measures 142.3×72.1×8.5mm and weighs 149g. The listing also affirms that the device will be compatible with Gear Circle wearable. As per listing, the handset features a leather-textured rear cover and a metal-feel side frame.
The Galaxy On7 is listed with model SM-G600FY, however there are no details regarding the internal specs of the device.
As per rumors, both the flagships will be available from the coming week initially in India. The Galaxy On5 is speculated to cost around $150 while the On5 will set you back at around $200.
