Taiwanese multinational Acer has proudly showcased its high-end Liquid Jade Primo quite a few times – At IFA in 2015, at CES and recently at Mobile World Congress. So now, after a couple of months of ranting, the company seems determined at last to actually announce the Continuum powered Windows 10-based devices.
The Acer Jade Primo is expected to make an official entry in the coming month. However, no official release details have been released by Acer up till now. In the intervening time, the company has released a latest promo video for the handset, highlighting the flagship’s multitasking excellence.
The promo video is intriguing and features the evolution of the personal computer from the huge giants that they were to present-day super computers. The promo also indicates that the business sector might be the basic target customer of this handset. In a nutshell, Acer’s forthcoming device will assist users in getting things done.
Liquid Jade Primo by Acer seems to be a high-end Windows-10 running flagship. Jade Primo will feature an AMOLED 5.5-inches HD display with 1080p screen resolution and will be powered by Snapdragon 808 SoC by Qualcomm. For memory, the handset will sport 3GB of RAM along with 32GB expandable internal storage. The handset will embrace a 21MP AF rear shooter along with an 8MP wide-angle front-facing camera designed specifically for selfies.
Other specs include USB Type C connectivity, WiFi 802.11ac and 2800mAh battery backup.
Acer’s Liquid Jade Primo appears to be a promising flagship flaunting Windows 10 and Continuum. The device is expected to be priced at around €800.
