iPhone 5SE Leaks

It appears that Apple has decided to skip ‘5’ from the name, which implies that the forthcoming device will be the first improved model excluding a number in its name.

As per various sources, the adjustment in name is to simplify the iPhone range. The manufacturers think that releasing an iPhone 5 variant amidst iPhone 6 circulations will distract consumers.

The ‘SE’ in the name suggests that it will be an improved model of iPhone 5s. In addition, the 9to5Mac sources also suggest that the iPhone SE is expected to substitute the iPhone 5s both in terms of functionality as well as price.

As far as the appearance of the rumored ‘iPhone SE’ is concerned, it is being said that the smartphone will feature a number of specs, encompassing 3D touch and a fingerprint reader.

The iPhone SE is speculated to pack in a 4-inches screen and a design quite similar to iPhone 5S with a marginally curved front panel. In addition, it is also said to come with an 8MP rear camera and a 1.2MP selfie snapper.

The other rumored specs include the robust A9 SoC from the iPhone 6S, Live photos, Always-on Siri choice and Apple Pay. The reports also suggest that the upcoming handset will come with 16GB and 64GB variants. The device is expected to feature a Rose gold color as well.

Apple is speculated to launch the iPhone SE On 22nd of the next month, alongside a slightly replenished Apple Watch, iPad Pro and perhaps MacBook upgrades as well.
