The IFA 2015 has seen a huge in surge of new offerings. Alcatel has joined the fray with its latest devices. Alcatel OneTouch has announced a new highly customizable and affordable range of smartphones. Ready to glow in the One Touch POP family are two phones called the POP STAR and POP UP alongside GO Play range and is considered as Alcatel’s “most fashion forward” smart phone.
ONE TOUCH POP UP SPECS
The One Touch POP UP is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 610 with an Octa-core processor timed at up to 1.4GHz. It has 2 GB of onboard RAM and developed 16 GB in storage expandable through micro SD.
The display comprises of a 5 inches IPS unit with 5 – finger multi touch assistance. The camera is a 13 MP shooter with front lens of 2.0 MP and sensor size of one/3.06 and a LED flash. On the front there is centered center selfie snapper.
The connection package includes multiband 2G/3G/4G along with WIFI b/g/n. The dual SIM facility can also be availed.
THE ONE TOUCH POP STAR SPECS
The range comes in two distinctive versions, one supporting Cat.4 LTE on top and the other is restricted to 3 G networks only. The 3G version employs a MediaTek MT6580, measuring 141×71.5×76mm whereas 4G supports MT6735P SOC and is 5mm taller.
With a stated charging time of 3 hrs, battery capability is once more 2000mAh. Both versions offer a single gig of RAM with expandable storage of 8 GB. The phone is supported only with an 8MP camera with an LED flash. Though interestingly, 3G model can shoot 1080p video clips while 4G is capped at 720p.
ONE TOUCH GO PLAY SPECS
It’s a Snapdragon 410 chipset driven phone with 8 GB of storage and 1 GB RAM. It comes with 5- inches720p TFT panel. It has the same camera combo as the POP STAR with video shoot capability of 1080p.
It is virtually impossible not to find at least one model of your choice from such a diversified range. The huge varieties of covers are also available. The external features may be eye-catching but the internal specs are not much. But, on the whole, the devices are definitely a good go as far as customizability is concerned. Users can select from the leather assortment (not leather), vogue assortment, funky collection and the wood like outer display.
