Samsung Unveils Solar Charging Stations

Electronics company Samsung has recently announced installation of solar powered free cellular charging facilities in India. The service will be available at selective Samsung outlets around the city of Bengaluru.

“It will be the first of its kind mobile charging facility and will require very low maintenance”, the Samsung officials added. The company further added in a statement that solar power capacity of 300 KW is sufficient enough for charging 20 mobiles daily.

Samsung also mentioned the stores and places where this facility is available at present, including Total Mall, Sarjapura Rd, CMH road, Malleshwaram, Indiranagar and Vijaynagar.

The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge was also announced on the same day and is considered an addition to the traditional Samsung big screen smart phones. It will be available at almost all retail stops from August 28 onwards. The colour variations include Gold platinum and Silver Titanium which are elegant and smart.

The Galaxy S6 Edge will be manufactured from the Noida facility to meet the demand of Indian consumers. The Indian VP, Marketing & Advertising, IT and cell phone Asim Warsi in Bengaluru told the reporters that the R&D team has been intricately involved in the development of various key features in the Galaxy S6 Edge + like the live video broadcast.
