LG G5’s SD652 Variant is now official

South Korean Multinational LG released its flagship smartphone called LG G5 during the Mobile World Congress 2016. Later, the company also announced that there will be another variant of the device in some countries that will be fueled by Snapdragon 652 by Qualcomm.

LG G5’s SD652 Variant

Presently, LG has listed the handset featuring Snapdragon 652 over its Panama site. Version number for the latest variant of LG G5 is LG G5 H840. Notably, all other specs of the variant have been retained except for the new processor, Snapdragon 652.

As far as the other specifications of the device are concerned, it will feature QHD 5.3-inch Quantum IPS display with 1250×1440p screen resolution and 554ppi pixel density. The handset will be fueled by octa-core Qualcomm 652 SoC clocked at 2.0GHz and will be driven by Android Marshmallow 6.0 out of the box.

The LG G5 SD652 will sport Adreno 510 GPU for graphics and will also pack in 3/4GB RAM along with 32GB internal storage, extendable up to 2TB.

For camera, the handset embraces 16MP/8MP wide angle back camera and also an 8MP front-facing snapper to click selfies.

In terms of connectivity, the handset will feature WIFI, LTE Cat 12, HSPA, 3G, NFC and Bluetooth 4.2. It will be powered by 2800mAh battery backup supported by super low consumption technology.

The handset will measure 149.4×73.9×7.7mm and weigh around 159g. Additional specs include USB Type C connectivity along with Camera and HiFi modules. LG G5 H840 will come in four color variants including silver, gold, pink and titan.
