ZTE A2017 Picked Up On GFXbench

Qualcomm’s high-end SoC called Snapdragon 820 was launched in 2015 and since then many mobile phone manufacturers have included the exclusive processor in their devices. The latest one to join the list is ZTE with its much-awaited smartphone christened ZTE A2017.

A latest flagship smartphone from ZTE has recently been spotted on GFXBench. The listing on the benchmarking site has disclosed that the handset named ZTE A2017 will be fueled by a Snapdragon 820 processor along with Adreno 530 GPU for graphics. A2017 will feature a 5.5-inch display with 1440×2560p screen resolution.

The handset will pack in 4GB of RAM and it is anticipated to sport 64GB of storage on board. However, there is no word whether the internal storage will be expandable or not. For camera, the device will come with a 21MP back camera that will offer 4K video recording feature along with 8MP front-facing snapper designed specifically to click selfies.

ZTE A2017 is speculated to come with Bluetooth, NFC, GPS and WIFI and will be driven by Android Marshmallow 6.0 out of the box.

It is not very clear from the listing which ZTE family the handset belongs to. The current rumors hint that this latest device is a part of ZTE’s popular Blade lineup. Another handset from the similar lineup called ZTE Blade V580 was recently announced. Blade V580 is driven by MediaTek octacore SoC coupled with 2GB of RAM.

There is no word regarding the official launch and price of the forthcoming device.
